Appointed as a Non-executive Director in September 2017 on the Board of the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which has since merged with the Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, as part of a Dorset-wide reorganisation of primary and acute healthcare under the Sustainability and Transformation Plan. Iain was a member of its Audit and Finance Committees, overseeing the financial position and performance of the hospital. Iain retired from the Board on amalgamation of the two Boards on the merger.
